Georgia Cosmetologist Continuing Education Course

 

Course Description: The course is to inform cosmetologists (all persons included defined by the state) that might come into contact with blood or any body fluids while in the work place. Information such as blood pathogens, sanitation, disinfection, sterilization, skin disorders and diseases are included in the course in order to meet state requirement of being trained in the case of contact.

 

Who Should Take This Course: Cosmetologist, Estheticians, Hair Designers, and Nail Technicians 

What: 5 hours continuing education for license renewal. (2hrs cosmetology related + 3hrs DTAE health and safety)

Exams: No minimum passing score. All exam answers provided. We encourage you to do your best.

Course Expires:  March 31, 2010

Waiver: Licensees of 25 years or longer may receive a waiver for the continuing education requirement. In addition, licensees who can prove to the Board that they have a hardship may also request a waiver.
