The Oklahoma CIB Requires....
No electrical contractor or journeyman license shall be renewed unless the licensee has completed at least six (6) hours of continuing education on the revisions to the current, published edition of the National Electrical Code within one (1) year of adoption of the current, published National Electrical Code. For the license year beginning July 1, 2000, no electrical contractor or journeyman license may be renewed unless the licensee has completed at least six (6) hours of continuing education on the revisions incorporated in the 1999 edition of the National Electrical Code.
